Vocaire became Voicare: Why we changed our name

Have you ever had a great experience with a new tool, only to realize ten minutes later that you couldn't remember exactly how to spell it?

When we first launched, we were Vocaire.ai. We loved the name, but we quickly noticed a pattern. We'd have a perfect onboarding session with a physiotherapist or a doctor, they'd be thrilled with the AI scribe, and then… life would happen. A new patient would walk in, things would get busy, and when they finally had a moment to log back in, they couldn't remember if it was "Vocaire," "Voi-ke-o," or where that "AI" was supposed to go.

We realized that by putting "AI" in the middle of our name, we were making things harder for the very people we wanted to help.

From Technology to Connection

But it wasn't just about spelling. It was about what we stand for.

We decided to move the "i" and become Voicare.ai. It's a small change, but it represents a big shift in our mission. Voicare stands for Voice and Care.

As a healthcare professional, your most powerful tool isn't your computer—it's your presence. When you aren't hunched over a keyboard, you can make eye contact. You can truly listen. We know that when a clinician is fully present, it leads to:

• More accurate diagnoses
• Stronger trust between patient and provider

When a patient feels heard, they are much more likely to adhere to their treatment plan or exercise program. By taking the documentation off your plate, we aren't just giving you "AI"—we're giving you the space to provide better Care.

A New Chapter

We officially made the switch in mid-2025, and we've worked hard to ensure the transition is seamless across all our channels. Whether you're a long-time user from the "Vocaire" days or you're joining us for the first time as "Voicare," we're glad you're here.

We care about the patients, and we care about the professionals who treat them. Now, our name finally reflects that.
